Job hunting? Argos Ireland is looking for 310 Christmas staff members

Argos Ireland has announced 310 new jobs for the Christmas period and Black Friday sales.

The applications are now open to fill positions such as customer advisor and stock assistant. The contracts for Christmas staff are 20-hours a week with fewer hours available on request. Speaking to The Sun, a spokeswoman for Argos Ireland said:

“New Argos team members will benefit from competitive hourly rates, a variety of shifts, a fun and friendly team culture and the chance to develop new skills through training.”

Argos want to have all new members in place before the festive rush begins and so, the search for staff is on. Angie Risley, Group HR Director added:

“Our customers shop with us for great quality products at low prices and because they trust us to give them brilliant service throughout the year. “Christmas is an extra special time and it’s our mission to make sure that customers can easily get everything they want in our stores and online.”
