"The lifeboat was launched to reports of windsurfers in difficulty North of Dundalk Bay. "Rescue 116 helicopter was also launched and local Coast Guard. About a mile and a half offshore the lifeboat crew were told they had been recovered safely ashore and the lifeboat was stood down. "All safe."The Irish Coast Guard is continuing to urge the public to stay well clear of coastal areas as Ophelia continues her path of destruction. These warnings are being echoed by local councils and the Gardaí.
