The EuroMillions jackpot was worth more than €100 million last night.

€102,382,992, to be exact, after there had been no jackpot winner in the main draw since November 16. It would've been a really lovely way for someone to kick off the Christmas holidays if they had won. But, sadly, nobody did. While nobody won the main prize, three people did win the Match 5 + 1 Stars sum - including someone in Ireland - netting them a prize of €489,376. The winning numbers for the main draw were 2 12, 15, 34, 50 and the lucky stars were 3 and 4. A National Lottery spokesman said:

“Congratulations to last night’s winner this is fantastic news for one of our EuroMillions players just on time for Christmas! "We are urging all our players to check their tickets to see if their numbers have come up."

It has now been revealed that the winning ticket was sold in Dublin; Dunnes Stores in Kilnamanagh to be more precise. And the fact that nobody won means that the next EuroMillions draw - which takes place on Christmas Day - is going to have a jackpot worth €110 million. The last big EuroMillions win in Ireland was on December 11, when one player in Laois won €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw. Meanwhile, the last time a player in Ireland won big in the main draw was on October 30, when four players - including two in Ireland - won the Match 5+1 Stars. They each got €233,212.
