Lucy Kennedy just announced HUGE career news with an old friend

It’s been eight years but Lucy Kennedy and Colm Hayes are finally reuniting for a new breakfast show. Yes, the Ireland’s Got Talent host announced the news on social media earlier today that she and Colm would be reuniting for a new show on Radio Nova. “It was always going to happen,” Lucy captioned a picture of herself and Colm. “Reunited after eight years! "Myself and Colm are presenting Radio Nova’s brand new breakfast show, starting in two weeks. “Let the messing begin!”

The announcement comes after Lucy finished up a successful stint hosting the new TV3 talent show, Ireland’s Got Talent, and just before she kicks off the new series of her show, Living With Lucy.  “So, it’s out there – The Colm and Lucy Breakfast Show is launching on Radio Nova,” Colm Hayes tweeted today. “It’s been eight years since we were on together. Let’s do it”

It seems like both old-school listeners and future colleagues are delighted at the news, with many tweeting their congratulations and excitement for the return of the loveable duo.

The Colm and Lucy Breakfast Show will start at the end of April and will broadcast from Monday to Friday, 6am to 10am.
