Met Éireann predict that there’s going to be heavy downpours of rain tomorrow

We've really been enjoying Ireland in the sun.

The past week or so has seen sun shine down on Ireland day after day and while we might be moaning that there's not enough fans in the office, we don't want this weather to go anywhere. While today we're going to see high temperatures, it looks like tomorrow is going to be different as the rain is going to make a comeback. Today is going to be "dry and bright but rain will continue to affect parts of Ulster and some showers will also occur through the midwest this morning. Highs of 17 to 21 degrees in light breezes."

The worst we're going to see is tomorrow night, with Met Éireann saying: "Cloudy and wet for much of the country [on Monday night] as outbreaks of rain spread northwards, but parts of the north and east will stay dry. "The rain will break up into showers towards dawn. Overnight lows of 11 to 13 degrees in light to moderate northerly breezes." Tuesday doesn't look great either, with the weather forecaster predicting: "A showery day, with risk of heavy or possibly thundery downpours in parts of midlands, east and south. Somewhat drier and brighter in the west and northwest, especially later in the day. Highs of 17 to 21 degrees. "Winds will be light to moderate northwesterly, but they will be fresh at times along south and southeast coasts."
