For today, the rain over Ulster will gradually clear late in the afternoon and evening. It'll be a wet evening in many parts though as the showers will continue to affect Munster and will move into the midlands and south Connacht Elsewhere the rest of the day will be generally dry and bright. We can expect highs of 7 to 11 degrees in light southeast breezes. Most places will remain dry early tonight but showers will develop across Leinster and east Ulster later in the night. On the Wicklow Mountains the showers will turn to sleet or snow by dawn.
