The young girl, who has not been named publically, has been recovering in hospital since the November 2023 incident.
Doctors at Temple Street Hospital have been caring for the young girl for months, but she is on the road to recovery.
Her family confirmed this week that she may be released from hospital before the autumn.
Writing on GoFundMe, they shared the hopeful news: "Hi everyone, our little warrior has been doing well and there is talk of a discharge before Autumn.
"Even after a nasty stomach bug, she is doing well with her feeds, and she enjoys play time and her therapies," they shared.
"She is able to communicate what she likes, and doesn't like, and is in great spirits," they continued.
Her family said she is even spending a lot of time playing and has continued her education too.
"She has now become more interested in playing with sand, play dough, colouring. She has also been able to work on her Maths and spelling.
"We are looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you all so much for the love and support," they concluded.
Their five-year-old daughter was one of three children injured in the stabbing on November 23rd, 2023.
Creche worker Leanne Flynn Keogh was also injured in the horrifying attack.
Riad Bouchaker was charged with the attempted murder of three children and causing serious harm to a care worker.
He remains in custody and is currently awaiting trial.
