Penneys has launched its first-ever spring/summer adaptive clothing collection, including the retailer's first adaptive swimwear.
The collection is developed in partnership with award‑winning adaptive fashion designer Victoria Jenkins. The range is designed to make dressing easier and more comfortable for people with a wide range of needs, without compromising on style or value.
This stunning collection is available in selected stores in Ireland now. The launch is the latest update to Penneys’ adaptive clothing range, which first hit the shelves in January 2025.
“With summer just around the corner, the collection offers a versatile range of warm-weather essentials, including tees, linen shorts, coordinated sets, short pyjama sets, adaptive nightwear, and underwear. And of course, no summer line would be complete without our adaptive swimwear.
New additions also include an adaptive stoma brief with drip-resistant technology, priced at €7.
The range further features a women’s black tankini with a €16 top, and €12 bottoms, designed with side-seam tube access and inner waistband pulls for added convenience.
The collection also includes men’s cargo swim shorts, priced at €14, featuring accessible openings, extra-large pockets for devices, tube access, and inner waistband pulls.
The range forms part of its wider commitment to make Penneys a more accessible place to work and shop. This includes offering more accessible products, creating inclusive store environments, fostering a culture of accessibility and ensuring diverse representation across its campaigns.
"To be able to expand the offering to new categories and utilise customer feedback in real time to improve the garments is something I am immensely proud of and truly shows Primark’s ongoing commitment to this range," fashion designer Victoria Jenkins said of the collaboration.
