Images of Pazuzu depict the demon as having a wide grin and a pointy smile, similar to Labubus.
According to legend, Pazuzu won a battle against powerful wind demons, thus making him a threat to others of his kind.
One TikTok user has warned people against buying the dolls.
The user who goes by @jessicavibezx and she shared a video of her burning a Labubu doll.

Someone else on X wrote: ""Labubu = Pazuzu. Do not invite demons into your home."
Another potential Labubu customer said that the theory would put them off buying one of the dolls.
They said: "I’m not superstitious, I’m a little stitious. But I’d never buy a Labubu.
"It comes from Pazuzu, which is a demon, and possessed the girl in The Exorcist. We’ve got enough inner demons, who needs one more expensive one?"
