There was no change at the top of the list of most popular baby girl names in the state in 2017.
For the seventh year in a row, Emily was the most commonly registered girls' name in Ireland last year.
The second biggest baby girl name was Emma, which jumped from seventh place last year.
Amelia, Grace and Sophie were the third, fourth and fifth most popular baby girl names 2017 in Ireland.
Lucy, Hannah, Mia, Ava and Chloe filled fifth to tenth places on the list.
Sadie made the biggest jump of any name on the girls' list, moving up from 39 to 24, while Sadie rose from 31st to 22nd.
