Prince Louis’ sweet words about Queen Elizabeth’s passing

The Princess of Wales has opened up about losing Queen Elizabeth. The mum-of-three greeted members of the public, alongside her husband Prince William, her brother-in-law Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, over the weekend following the Queen's passing. Kate shook the public's hands and thanked them for their support during a walkabout on Saturday, September 10th. The royals also looked at floral tributes that were laid outside Windsor in honour of the late Queen. Speaking to one member of the public, Kate revealed that her youngest son, Prince Louis said the sweetest thing after hearing of his great-grandmother's death. The Duchess said her Prince Louis' words were "so sweet". “My little Louis, this is so sweet, he said ‘Mummy don’t worry, she’s now with great grandpa’.” Members of the public said Kate was welling up when she told the story, but she said the nation needs to be strong. Queen Elizabeth II passed away at her home in Balmoral on September 8th. It was confirmed that the 96-year-old died peacefully in the afternoon. Her death comes just after a year after her husband, Prince Philip died at the age of 99. Prince Philip was pronounced dead on April 9th, 2021. King Charles confirmed his mother will be laid to rest on September 19th. Before her state funeral, the public can pay their respects at Westminster Hall from Wednesday, September 14th. The Queen's lying in state will last for four days. The public has been asked not to take photos. They have also been told to expect long queues.
