Following a trial that took over a month, the jury found Satchwell guilty of murder.
Satchwell reported his wife missing in March 2017, saying that he came home to find her gone along with €26,000 of savings.
After more than six-and-a-half years, Gardai discovered Tina's remains buried in the living room following a search of the house in 2023.
Satchwell was re-arrested and changed his story, saying that Tina came at him with a chisel and died as he was holding her off.
He said he then put her body into a disused freezer, buried her in a grave he'd built in the house, and cemented over the body.
Tina's family has since said that the way Satchwell portrayed her was not true to how she was.
He attempted to suggest she was violent and volatile, however, there was zero evidence of this.
