Local volunteers and the Civil Defence are taking part in the search for the girl, which has been supported on the Suir river by Carrick-on-Suir Rescue Craft, Nenagh Search And Rescue and Waterford River Rescue.
The Coast Guard has also been involved.
In an appeal on Facebook, her mother asked for anyone with any information that would help with the search to come forward.
"If you know of her whereabouts, tell her she isn’t in trouble, she won’t be forced to come home, if she doesn’t want to," Gráinne Gault said.
"We just want to know she’s safe and well and we can call off all the search efforts and that myself, her daddy and her three sisters love her very much, no matter what."
Elisha is between 5 foot 10 and six foot with dyed blonde hair and blue eyes.
