The winner is the 26th winner of the EuroMillions Plus prize this year, and the latest in a whole string of lucky winners this month.
The winning streak began on Tuesday, October 8 when a player in Dublin scooped up the EuroMillions Plus' top prize; before someone in Cork won the same prize on Friday, October 11.
Then, on Tuesday, October 15, a player who purchased their ticket in Dublin also won the top prize; before someone in Limerick won the prize a few days later on Friday, October 18.
According to Extra, the ticket was sold at Twohig’s SuperValu store in Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick on October 11.
