The terrifying moment a little girl gets pulled into the water by a sea lion

The terrifying footage has been circulating online this weekend.

The moment a sea lion suddenly attacked a young girl at a pier has been shared online. The video shows the little girl alongside her family enjoying the view of the sea lion and even feeding him. At one point the animal even jumps close to the child causing the crowd and the girl to laugh. However, the footage took a turn for the worst when the sea lion leaped from the water and pulled the child in. The scary footage shows the sea lion grabbing the little girl from behind and quickly pulling her into the water, leaving her completely submerged. However, a family member quickly jumped into the water after the child and carried her to safety at the pier in Richmond, Canada.

It is believed that nobody was hurt in the incident.
