As the MWC explained this evening, Ireland is caught between two very different air masses.
"The difficulty with forecasting such conditions are that both scenarios as still a distinct possibility.
"At present it looks as though warm, possibly even hot, conditions will prevail in eastern areas, with wetter and cooler conditions favoured to the west of the country. This scenario will remain in place for the midweek period, with humid conditions likely towards the end of next week.
"There will however be a fair amount cloud around over the weekend, with some patches of rain or drizzle along western and northern coasts. The best of the sunshine will always be further to the east and south."
Sounds like only some of us will get to enjoy the good weather then.
