There’s a new millionaire in Ireland after Friday night’s EuroMillions draw

There's a new millionaire in Ireland after Friday night's EuroMillions draw - and two more players won €500,000. Talk about a very happy start to the Christmas season. Every EuroMillions line bought in Ireland has a unique Ireland-0nly raffle code, from which 10 are drawn to win €5,000 in each standard draw. However, this week's draws will see each of the 10 Ireland-Only raffle winners receiving the usual €5,000 and they'll also be placed in another draw to be in with the chance to win a life-changing €1 million. And while there's been no word just yet as to where the ticket was sold, the winning ticket number has been revealed: I-HKS-43344.

Elsewhere in the draw, two online players won €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus. The lucky numbers were 17, 23, 27, 39 and 44. Players are being urged to double check their tickets to see I they won any of the big prizes. The news comes a few days after the Ireland Only Raffle saw another player win €1 million - talk about a good way to kcik off the Christmas season.
