The county where the winning Christmas Eve Lotto ticket was sold has been confirmed

Someone has just become a millionaire.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning Christmas Eve Lotto ticket was sold in Co. Cavan. The person who bought the ticket as a quick pick has just won €4.5m. According to BreakingNews, it was bought on Christmas Eve in SuperValu on Main Street, Bailieborough in Co. Cavan. The winning numbers were 8, 10, 11, 16, 40, 42 with a bonus number of 38. The National Lottery is asking people to check their tickets and if anyone finds the winning ticket to contact them on Thursday when their offices reopen.
