Twitter has some intense reactions to Trump meeting the Queen

It's been a day.

President Trump and his wife Melania landed at Queen Elizabeth's central London home just hours ago. After a huge photo op - and a rather unusual handshake - the pair, along with Prince Charles and other senior royals at Buckingham Palace, made their way to lunch before the Queen showed Trump her art collection. There have been many protests going on in the streets of London today, but it seems it doesn't stop there. People on Twitter are making their voices heard, with both jokes and opinions, about the visit and it's quite clear that nobody is too happy:

The queen has given Trump a book (about Churchill/WWII), which, considering that everyone knows he doesn't read, is an expert-level troll.

Meghan Markle has managed to get out having to see Trump. She is on maternity leave after giving birth last month and so is not taking part in any official royal duties. The president wasn't aware that he wouldn't be meeting her, telling the Sun; "I didn’t know that. I hope she is OK." Trump will fly to Ireland on Wednesday where he'll met Leo Varadkar.
