Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision involving a car and two teenage pedestrians in Foxrock in Dublin 18 on Friday (28 November).
At around 7.30pm, Gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of a car mounting the footpath and colliding with a lamp post and bin, resulting in injuries to two pedestrians on the N11 at Foxrock.
The injured pedestrians, two males in their mid-teens, were taken to hospital.
One remains in CHI [Children's Health Ireland] Crumlin, receiving treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was also transported to hospital for medical assessment.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
"Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N11 at Foxrock around the time of the incident are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí," a Garda spokesperson said in a statement.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Dún Laoghaire Garda Station on 01 6665000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
