It will see westerly winds veering Northwest, which will reach 55-60 km/hr near the costal fringes.
Meanwhile, a snow-ice warning was put into place for five counties.
The yellow caution was put into place for Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Louth and Leitrim.
It comes into effect at 3am on Wednesday morning and will last for 12 hours, until 3pm.
Met Eireann are forecasting a risk of snow showers, especially on high ground, which can lead to accumulations up to 3cm.
And the reset of the forecast isn't looking too good, either.
Tomorrow is going to be cold and blustery, with showers mainly over the west and north in the morning.
However, the rain will extend nationwide in the afternoon - with the occasional hail and sleet.
