Two Status Yellow weather warnings have been issued for seven counties over heavy rain and potential flooding.
One of the alerts - a rain and wind warning - comes from Met Éireann and applies to Dublin, Louth, Meath and Wicklow.
It is in effect now and is valid until 8pm today (Thursday, 26 September).
It reads: "Rain, heavy at times, coupled with gusty winds, strongest near the coasts and on higher ground.
"Potential impacts: Traffic delays and/or disruption, spot flooding."
The other Yellow rain alert is from the UK Met Office and effects Antrim, Armagh and Down.
In effect now and valid until 6pm on Thursday, it reads: "Heavy rain may lead to some flooding and transport disruption in places."
Met Éireann's national forecast outlook for the coming days states: "Rather mixed weather over the next few days and quite cold too for this time of year."
