The Lotto Jackpot, worth €2,935,144, and the Lotto Plus One top prize, worth €1,000,000, were both claimed by two Dublin players.
In terms of the former, it was previously announced that the Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw.
And now The National Lottery has confirmed that the shop that sold that winning ticket was Applegreen in Rathcoole, a bustling N7 store.
The winning numbers from Wednesday’s Lotto draw were: 5, 11, 26, 37, 46, 47 and the Bonus was 35.
Speaking on the win, Karl Fitzgerald, site director at Applegreen Rathcoole, said in a statement: “This is by far the biggest win we have ever had in store, so we’re all thrilled with the news. We have a team of around 110 working here, and we’re all just over the moon.
"It’s not every day that you hear one of your customers has become an overnight millionaire."
The National Lottery has also confirmed that the jackpot winner has come forward and arrangements are being made for them to visit Lottery HQ to collect their €2.9 million prize.
As for the winner of the Lotto Plus One top prize, they bought their ticket online.
The winning numbers for the Plus One were: 2, 10, 17, 27, 30, 33 and the Bonus was 36.
Meanwhile, the upcoming EuroMillions draw on Friday night (14 February) will include the special Ireland Only Raffle event which guarantees a €1,005,000 prize for one Irish player.
