Add us as a preferred source on Google »A woman in her 30s has died and two others have been left injured after a road crash in Donegal on Friday night (6 September).
The two vehicle collision occurred at Carrowkeel in Quigley's Point, Muff at around 11.15pm.
Gardaí say that the woman in her 30s was a female back seat passenger in one of the vehicles and was fatally injured as a result of the crash.
Her body has been taken from the scene to Letterkenny University Hospital where a post mortem will take place in due course.
The female driver of this vehicle, aged in her 70s, and the male front seat passenger, aged in his 50s, were both transported from the scene to Atnagalvin and Letterkenny University Hospitals with-non life threatening injuries.
The male teenage driver of the second vehicle was uninjured.
"Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to Gardaí," a Garda spokesperson also said.
