Woman from THAT Tinder date who got stuck in window ‘just panicked’

The woman who went viral after firefighters had to rescue her when she got stuck in a window while allegedly trying to retrieve her own poo on a Tinder date appears to have come forward.

The anonymous woman had to be saved after she was left hanging upside down in a gap that separated her date's house from another window. The story caught attention across the globe this week after her date, Liam Smyth, launched a crowdfunding appeal to replace his broken window. Liam explained on the fundraising page who his date had gotten trapped trying to grab the waste she chucked outside when it failed to flush down the toilet. But the mystery woman now seems to have spoken out for the first time, admitting her actions were a "panic response". A Reddit user claimed to be the woman from the date, saying she was "literally" on her knees "cringing and apologising" to Liam after the incident. She added that she knew within seconds she had made a mistake - but was ultimately unable to lie about it and fessed up almost straight away. She wrote:

"It's not something I'm proud of, but people are laughing, and if I'm making people happy then I'm not going to complain. "It was a panic response and within seconds i knew I'd made a terrible mistake. "I would have left, but i just couldn't do that to him. "I make bad choices sometimes (!) but I like to think I'm not a bad person, and to me that would have been bad [to leave]. "I told him almost straight away - I couldn't lie about something like that."

The Reddit user told how Liam was "so good about it" when she told him the truth. She explained:

"I swear i was literally on my knees cringing and apologising. "He was so good about it though, just laughed with me rather than at me. "It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to say."
