Pippa O’Connor’s Zara blouse is the kind of thing we wouldn’t pick but looks amazing

You know the kind of thing you see in a shop that you'd never think would look nice, but then you see someone wearing it and you regret not giving it a chance? We feel exactly that way about Pippa O'Connor's latest wardrobe addition from Zara. It's a bright yellow button-up shirt with a tied bow detail at the neck and it's stunning on Pippa. She paired the statement shirt with a simple pair of denims from her own line and a messy ponytail. The look was so chic and we could honestly see ourselves getting plenty of wear out of the shirt, to work, out for dinner or for a few fancy cocktails. If you're a lover of this little gem, which is basically the sartorial equivalent of sunshine, it retails for just under €40. Sizes are selling out fast, but potentially it might come back into stock. It's definitely worth checking out "in-store availability" too, if there is a Zara close to you. From the looks of things, yellow is set to be a key trend moving into spring. If you're not a fan of the canary look, why not opt for a lighter tone? For around the same price point as the Zara number, this Vero Moda shirt available on ASOS would be gorgeous teamed with black skinnies, biker boots and a leather jacket. Yep, we've just been influenced because we will definitely be incorporating yellow into our wardrobes after seeing Pippa's Instagram!
