This is what princesses Eugenie and Beatrice are wearing (and they’ve toned it down)

OK, so who can forget the 2011 Royal Wedding when princesses Eugenie and Beatrice rocked up to Westminster Abbey wearing this...

In fairness to them, we don't think they looked all that bad - but the internet disagreed and suffice-to-say the sisters came in for some serious slagging (as well as a whole host of memes). This time around - some seven years later - the duo have seriously toned down their look. Eugenie - who is aged 28, is engaged herself, and who will marry in October - wore a pale blue tweed dress and complementary accessories. She teamed the outfit with a nude bag, Valentino heeled pumps, and a white hat. Meanwhile, 29-year-old Beatrice opted for a full-length, rich green dress with sheer sleeves and a matching green headpiece. Eugenie is engaged to her long-term beau Jack Brooksband; they have also chosen the same chapel at Windsor for their wedding ceremony, Earlier this year, a statement confirmed:

“Her Royal Highness and Mr Brooksbank became engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month. "The wedding will take place in the autumn of 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced in due course."

Beatrice and Eugenie are the daughters and only children of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
