An 'excellent' TV that's perfect for gaming has been given a huge discount for a limited time.

In an early deal ahead of Black Friday, Amazon has slashed the price of a 65-inch 4K model from Hisense by €570.

Usually priced at €1,364.44, shoppers can bag the impressive TV for €795 on the website.

Black Friday, which takes place on 28 November, typically sees big discounts on TVs and other tech, but this is a chance to get a bargain ahead of the rush later this month.

Of course it's great for streaming your favourite shows, but it's ideal for games thanks to its impressive 144Hz refresh rate.

This means games look and run much more smoothly than normal, and combining that with the VRR tech (Variable Refresh Rate) your PS5 or Xbox games will look and feel their best.

More than 1,000 shoppers who have tried and tested the smart TV have given it an average rating of 4.3 stars on Amazon.

A number of them have noted that it's 'fantastic' for gaming, as it "provides a stunning picture for gaming, everything runs so much smoother".

One shopper said: "On 120hz the game play is smooth faster and better. Colours are good and the sound amazing. Some games giving you the sound effect with the Dolby Atmos it's like you’re wearing a headset."

While a third wrote: "It's perfect excellent price, and perfectly clear picture and the sound is great my first ever 4K TV bought because I needed an upgrade mostly used for gaming the quality is outstanding."

Others said about the Hisense TV in general: "So far, so good. This was bought to replace a fully functioning but unbelievably slow Panasonic TV and this is miles better.

"Very easy to use and set up. Good picture quality. This was chosen as it had to fit in a small space and the dimensions were perfect. Cannot fault it so far."

Another wrote: "I have to say, my expectations weren't too high given how little I paid for this TV - I just needed something - but, I'm super impressed with the picture quality. The audio is better than "fine", too and is full and rich for the space my TV is sitting in."
