Brian McFadden Has a Father’s Day Message for Kerry Katona’s Husband

Once upon a time, Brian McFadden and Kerry Katona had one of the great romances of late 90s/early 00s pop.  Readers of magazines like Smash Hits and Live and Kicking rejoiced when the Westlife singer and Atomic Kitten vocalist got together, and when they married in 2002 it looked like a happy ever after. Sadly, it was not to last. The pair separated in 2004 and divorced in 2006, and the split was followed by years of bitter jabs from both sides and question marks over custody of their two daughters. Almost a decade on, it's finally looking like the exes have come to a happier place - with Brian taking to Twitter today to wish Katona's current husband a happy Father's Day! In a classy move, Brian said: "Happy Father's Day @mrgsjkay thanks for keeping our family together! Your a great man" [SIC]

Kay was similarly respectful and warm in his response.

McFadden, who is now married to model and DJ Vogue Williams, earlier posted a picture of himself with his daughters, captioning it "Father's Day nostalgia".

Kerry married George in September of 2014. They have one child together, Kerry's youngest of five.
