Keeping Up Appearances actor Clive Swift has died aged 82. A statement from Clive's family read: "After a short illness, Clive died peacefully this morning surrounded by his family." Clive became a household name for his role as Richard Bucket, the husband of Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances. He had a career spanning 60 incredible years, and was last credited for a role in 2017. Shane Allen, from the BBC paid tribute to Clive, saying: “Clive was a very highly regarded character actor with a long and distinguished career. “His role as Richard Bucket brought huge audiences and great affection in one of the all-time classic sitcoms. “Thoughts are with close friends and loved ones at this time.” Rest in peace Clive, you'll be missed by many.
