Jack Fincham says Dani Dyer ‘loves publicity’ after her post about their breakup

Love Island stars Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer have been broken up for less than a week but it looks like the gloves are already off.

The pair announced on Thursday that they were parting ways after six months, with Dani posting on Instagram that they'd always have a place in their hearts for one another. But over the weekend Jack was overheard getting very honest about his feelings with a friend. An insider revealed to The Sun that when his friend put it to him that Love Island stars break up "for publicity", Jack responded; "I’m not like that though – that’s her.” "I won that show, not her. I was the funniest one on it!," he joked. "I was a laugh though, innit.” He also appeared to have a go at his ex for how she posted about their breakup on Instagram when the news broke. "I’m not being funny yeah, but if it was on the other foot would you have done it? I said 'You, listen yeah, you made your decision. “You, I’ve not said a word to no one. I’ve been posting what I normally do. “I said, 'When you’ve been and gone tomorrow, post on Instagram saying I’ve made a mistake, I’m sorry and that’s what you’re gonna be doing. I’m not getting back with you.'" Responding to the story, a rep for Jack said; "It’s been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for Jack and it’s really sad that at this time someone decides to covertly record him trying to have a quiet conversation with a friend.” Jack and Dani won Love Island in August, having spent eight weeks together on the show.
