Al Porter has finally spoken out after his replacement on Today FM was announced yesterday. The radio station delighted fans with the news that Muireann O'Connell would soon take over the afternoon slot. Speaking to the Irish Star, Al said: "The minute I saw the news I texted Today FM's station manager Adelle to tell Muireann I think she'll be great and wish her the best. "I wasn't asked to resign from any of my jobs, I took that step away myself, facing the very serious claims made. "There are no hard feelings." Mr Porter resigned from Today FM and TV3 after allegations were made of inappropriate sexual behaviour.
