Busy Philipps’ daughter went as Busy Philipps for Halloween and it’s gas

Like mother, like daughter.

Busy Philipps saw the funny side when her daughter decided to dress up as her for Halloween this year. Yes, a costume that might not have gone down well with everyone was the subject of serious praise this weekend when nine-year-old Birdie dressed up as her mam and nailed it. “I. Am. Dead,” Busy captioned a picture of her daughter in character.

From Busy’s dabbling with pink hair to her obvious love of iced coffee, Birdie had her mother down pat. And Birdie’s friends also nailed it with one dressing up as Skrillex and another dressing as Broadway phenomenon, Evan Hansen.

Busy took to Instagram stories to praise her daughter’s creativity, saying:

“I know she’s making fun of me. I mean, she’s just being silly, she’s not making fun of me. “She’s kind of making fun of me, but she’s just her own person and I really respect that.”
