The Harry Potter reunion aired over the weekend. It was lovely. There were tears, throwbacks, and a load of Tom Felton. So much Tom Felton, in fact, that he even got to chat about how much he loved spending time with co-star Emma Watson. While filming the eight part film series, the pair were inseparable. So much so that Emma used to check her call sheet every day to see if Tom would also be on set. "I walked into the room where we had tutoring and the assignment was to draw what you though God looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. I just fell in love with him," she said. "I used to come in everyday and look for his number on the call sheet and if his number was on the call sheet it was an extra exciting day. He was three years above me, so he was like 'you're like my little sister'." The apparent vibes, shall we call them, between Tom and Emma have been the source of much discussion among Harry Potter fans for years. As rumours of a romance swirled as the pair reached their late teens (and 100k word fanfics dominated the internet, no doubt), a close friendship was mistaken for a deep romantic love time and time again, as they posed at premiers together, hung around outside of work, and generally seemed to get on like a house on fire. "Nothing has ever happened romantically with us, we just love each other," she said, while Tom reiterated: "I became very protective over her, I've always had a soft spot for her and that continues." So nothing happened in the past, but hey, that doesn't mean that it couldn't still. Make it happen guys, please.
