You can now make GIFs on Instagram and we’re totally here for it

GIFs are everything.

And we think it's safe to say that everyone and their mother has used Boomerang to its death (don't get us wrong, we still love a good boomer, but it gets boring after a while). So, when we heard that Instagram is rolling out a new feature that will allow you to make GIFs, we got so excited. Because what better way to show your emotions than through a moving image, huh? According to The Verge, the new feature, called Stop Motion, works by taking a series of photos that are then 'stitched' together into a GIF that can be added to your Instagram Story. While it's not available to everyone at the moment, it's only going to be a matter of time before it's pushed out globally. And we. Can't. Wait.
