Christine Quinn “disinvited” from MTV Awards after accusations about Selling Sunset creator

Oh, dear.

Christine Quinn was allegedly disinvited to the MTV Awards over the weekend after she made some crazy accusations about Selling Sunset creator Adam DiVello. The award show took place on Sunday in LA and Selling Sunset won for Best Docu-Reality Series, but Christine wasn't among the cast to accept it. Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young, Davina Potratz, Emma Hernan, Vanessa Villela, Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Chelsea Lazkani, Jason and Brett Oppenheim were all there to accept the award as well as Adam the creator. According to Page Six, Netflix made the decision to not include Christine in this as a way of avoiding drama. A source told the publication: “This decision didn’t come from MTV. It came from Netflix/production. “My guess is that they knew in advance that ‘Selling Sunset’ was going to win, hence why Adam [DiVello] was in attendance, and it made it less sticky of a situation to not have Christine present.” Despite this, another source told them this wasn't the case, saying: "Netflix managed the ticket allotment, not Adam, and Christine was never part of that allotment.” This comes after Christine called out Adam on the Call Her Daddy podcast, alleging that he "berated" her for being too honest in interviews. The reality star said: “We have to look at what Adam DiVello has done as a whole, as a human being, as the person that he is. She then claimed that Adam had made threatening comments after she did an interview accusing producers of using “editing magic”. She continued: “[I was] being too honest. That wasn’t the first complaint I filed against him. There was another complaint — where he to this day cannot actually step foot on set with any of the women in the office because of misconduct “It was extremely terrifying when, you know, I mean, he’s screaming in my face. It was horrifying.” “Basically, I did an interview and, I said, like, ‘No, here’s what really happened’ — to which he was threatening me and yelling at me. “And, you know, there was other people around. There were witnesses to this. He basically berated me for being too honest.”
