CONFIRMED: All 236 episodes of Friends have now been added to Netflix

If you’re looking for something to binge on for the New Year... it has now been confirmed that Netflix has added all ten series of Friends to its service.

That amounts to an incredible 236 episodes!

Netflix had earlier hinted at the move - with Twitter responding accordingly.

For those who might need a brush-up: the famous sitcom was a huge global hit when it aired from 1994 to 2004.

It follows the misadventures of six 20-something mates as they navigate work, life, and love in 1990s Manhattan.

The show made massive stars out of the main characters - who were played by Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.

Two years ago, to mark the show's 21st birthday, Comedy Central held a FriendsFest - a week-long festival that ran from September 16-20 in London. As part of the festival, a full scale set of Monica's apartment was installed in Brick Lane's The Boiler House. There was also a Central Perk inspired coffee shop and an exhibition of original props and memorabilia brought in from Los Angeles. Speaking about the event at the time, Comedy Central said: "Friends is hugely popular, with almost 5.9 million people tuning in to watch it on Comedy Central each month."
