Coronation Street To Air “Dark” Storyline Featuring Bethany Platt

Corrie actress Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt in the popular soap, has revealed that her character is to be the main focus of a dramatic storyline. Speaking to TV Week, Lucy revealed that resident bad-boy Callum Logan will make life difficult for Bethany and other members of the Platt family in upcoming scenes. "What's coming up for Bethany is very intense. Some really scary things are going to happen involving her and the Platts, and it's quite a brave storyline, so I think viewers will be surprised. The Manchester-based soap will air a live episode in September as part of ITV's 60th anniversary celebrations and the Platt family have a large role to play in this.
