Corrie: Aidan and Eva’s wedding to have ‘massive consequences’

We've been expecting plenty of drama for Aidan and Eva's wedding on Coronation Street and one of the show's stars has confirmed that we're in for a treat. Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price, has admitted that her character's plans for the big day will have "massive consequences". She told What's On Tv that Eva is determined to show up cheating Aidan at the wedding. "The big thing about Eva is she never thinks about consequences. Ever. "She just jumps straight in with whatever she wants to do, whatever she wants to say. And obviously, a plan of this size has massive consequences." She might be thrown on the morning of the wedding, however, as Aidan turns up to visit her before they're due to tie the knot and confesses that he cheated on her with Maria. He's in for a shock himself when she then tells him that she's been lying about her pregnancy. There's even more drama later on when Maria bursts into the middle of the ceremony. Catherine wouldn't reveal what happens but did say that she had to do some type of stunt during filming of the wedding. "Maria’s not going to know what’s hit her. I saw Samia’s (who plays Maria) face after filming and I was like, 'I am so sorry'. It’s fantastic but harsh. I think viewers will be gobsmacked!" The drama all kicks off next Monday night.
