Dean has recently hinted that they haven't closed the door entirely on the series. According to The Sun, he said:
"I don’t know [if we’re in it], So probably not to a great extent because I think the story has moved on from the days when myself and Jerry were directly involved in it."But then he added:
"I neither want to be a part of it, nor want to avoid it. If the filmmakers think I’ve got something to add to the story [I’d do it]. If not, I’m interested to see what the story is."
