Dee Devlin reveals bizarre nickname she has for Conor McGregor

The Crumlin fighter is known for displaying his wealth with private jets, designer suits and expensive jewellery, and often spoils his other half with luxurious gifts.

In a recent Instagram post, the 36-year-old shared a photo of himself holding up a designer magazine.

On the page were two snazzy rings covered in diamonds and Devlin's finger was seen pointing at one.

McGregor captioned the post by saying: "My baby, for me?" with a hearts-for-eyes emoji. In the replies, Devlin wrote: "Anything for you daddy."

The use of 'daddy' sent some fans into a frenzy, with Devlin's comment gaining nearly 1,500 likes.

While its a well-known fact that McGregor is indeed a 'daddy' to three boys and one girl, many have been quick to point out the intimate connotations linked with the term.

The post has racked up nearly 85,000 likes but fans are more interested in updates about his career back in the octagon.

The Irishman was due to face Michael Chandler last month but the pair's hotly-anticipated bout at UFC 303 was postponed after McGregor suffered a broken toe in training.

In a statement posted to social media, the 36-year-old said: "Very tough to be ruled out of my scheduled return bout. I picked up an injury prior to the press conference that required more time to heal than was available to me.

"The decision to postpone the fight was not made lightly, but one made in consultation with my doctors, the UFC, and my team. My fans and opponent deserve me at my best for this fight and we will get there!

"Thank you for the messages of support, I am in good spirits and confident I’ll be back!"
