Everyone’s talking about Eminem’s fiery performance at the BET Awards

The rapper hit out in a big way.

During last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards, Eminem released an intense freestyle rap taking aim at US President, Donald Trump. Last week, Trump made comments suggesting this was a period of “calm before the storm” which naturally caused a sense of serious unease among many.

Well, Eminem has just fired back at the comment with a verse entitled ‘The Storm’. The four and a half minute video is emotionally charged and is clearly directed at Trump as well as some of his aids including Steve Bannon. The artist drew focus to Trump’s response to the #TakeAKnee protests and mentions the founder of the movement, Colin Kaepernick.

Many have now come out to share their support for the Hip Hop legend including LeBron James, Elizabeth Banks and Colin Kaepernick himself.
