Emmerdale has revealed Ross Barton’s exit storyline – and he may not be leaving alone

After months and months of speculation, Emmerdale has revealed the exit storyline for Ross Barton.

And it looks like the character, played by Michael Parr, may not be leaving alone. Over the next few days, Ross and Rebecca White are going to come up with a plan to leave the village together - and plan for Moses and Seb to join them. Robert is horrified when he hears the news of Rebecca's plan - especially since he hears it second hand - and insists that Seb won't be going anywhere. And Charity feels similarly about Moses, not wanting to be separated from her little boy just because Ross wants to leave the village. Rebecca and Ross face a huge amount of backlash from Charity, Aaron and Robert - and she crumbles under the pressure, starting to have second thoughts. She encourages him to wait a few months, hoping that this would give them enough time to sort the situation before leaving. But Ross doesn't want to wait and reaches the decision to leave anyways, saying some emotional farewells to everyone in the village. When it comes time, will Rebecca let him leave without her - or will she be making a surprise exit? It was announced earlier this year that Michael would be departing the soap to pursue new projects.
