Evenings are about to look a little different on TV3.

Following the move of soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street to the newly launched UTV Ireland, the Ballymount-based broadcasters have made a series of moves to protect their audience share.

In addition to the extension of flagship entertainment show Xposé to an hour-long slot, TV3 created their own soap Red Rock as part of a greatly expanded offering of homegrown shows.

The latest move involves current daytime show Late Lunch Live, hosted by Lucy Kennedy and Martin King.

TV3 announced today that the magazine-style show is now set to move to a brand new 7pm, making it one of their primetime offerings every weekday.

The show will now be called The 7 O’ Clock Show and both hosts will remain.

According to bosses, the new format will see a mix of "new features and old favourites" from Late Lunch Live as well as an array of well-known guests and lots of audience interaction.

The 7 O’ Clock Show will air 7–8pm weeknights on TV3 from Monday 16^th February.
