Ex-housemate has no sympathy for I’m A Celeb’s Jordan North – because he let her gerbil die

Now, I'm not one to judge because we've all accidentally killed a goldfish or two... but a gerbil? Apparently, one of our favourite's on I'm A Celeb is a gerbil killer - an alleged gerbil killer, according to his friend and ex-roommate. Hits Radio presenter Hattie Pearson took to social media to share her gerbil death tale, saying that she went on holiday and left her little pet, Jemima, with Jordan. When she came back from her holiday, seemingly Jemima was no longer alive. Tweeting about Jordan's bushtucker trials, Hattie said: "To be honest I have NO sympathy for @jordannorth1. Serves him right for killing my gerbil Jemima when we lived together." She goes on to say: "I went on holiday, he promised me he’d 'look after' her and I came home to a dead pet." Understandably, this is more of a running joke between the pair rather than some serious gerbil-based beef. Hattie isn't angry that Jordan let her gerbil die - she just wants to bring it up every now and again. Or all the time. When Jordan first entered the castle, Hattie was posting pics of the pair all over her Instagram, sharing her excitement for her friend's new adventure. "Can’t wait for you all to get to know @jordannorth1 one of my dearest pals," she said. "He might have killed my gerbil and left his beard shavings on the bathroom floor but he was the best housemate I ever had and you’re gonna love him as much as I do." Of course, Jordan is currently living it up in the Welsh castle so we have yet to hear his side of the story. We're going to go ahead and guess that an admission of guilt is coming soon.
