The first teaser for House of Cards season 6 is here

We finally have the first look at the next series of House of Cards.

The future of the show was in doubt after the leading actor, Kevin Spacey, was accused of making a sexual advance toward a child actor. At the time of the controversy, Netflix released this statement:

"Media Rights Capital and Netflix are deeply troubled by last night’s news concerning Kevin Spacey. In response to last night’s revelations, executives from both of our companies arrived in Baltimore this afternoon to meet with our cast and crew to ensure that they continue to feel safe and supported. As previously scheduled, Kevin Spacey is not working on set at this time."

It was first thought that the series would be cancelled entirely, but Netflix then issued a further update to clarify that there would still be a sixth series but Spacey would no longer be involved. This time around, Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright, is at the helm when House of Cards returns for its sixth and final season later this year.
