Get excited! The Gavin and Stacey Christmas special is already getting rave reviews

We can't wait to see it.

If you were a fan of Gavin and Stacey then you were no doubt excited to hear it was making a comeback. The TV series was one we laughed and cried to, so after 10 years it will be nice to see the characters back on our screens again. The storyline for the special episode is still being kept under wraps, however there was a secret press screening of it yesterday in the UK, and everyone absolutely raved about it.

When word of the special was first announced, James Corden and co-creator Ruth Jones made a joint statement saying: "Over the last ten years we've talked a lot about Gavin and Stacey - where they might be today and what their lives might look like. And so in secret we took the plunge and wrote this one hour special. "We've loved revisiting Barry and Essex again and bringing the characters back together has been a joy." We said it before and we'll say it again; we can't wait.
