Holly makes statement about her future on I’m A Celebrity

It was one of the biggest dilemmas in telly land in 2018 - who'd present I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here?

When it was announced that Ant McPartlin wouldn't be on the show this year, Holly Willoughby was heavily tipped to join Dec Donnelly in the jungle. She landed the gig and proved to be a massive hit for ITV, drawing millions of viewers in her first week co-hosting. Holly had a natural rapport with Dec and kept us hooked with her jungle outfits - but sadly it's the last we'll see of her Down Under. She's just confirmed that she won't be back on the show in 2019.

"It was a one-off, once in a lifetime adventure," she told press at the launch of ITV's Dancing On Ice. "I'll be at home with everyone else having a glass of wine watching it. "That was the thing I was most jealous of. Here I am standing here while you're all drinking red wine at home in front of the fire and I'm in the rain in the jungle."

It's hoped that Ant will be back to present the show with Dec next year. The Geordie star has just returned to work on Britain's Got Talent ahead of his TV comeback in the New Year.
