That's not too much to ask, right?
Well, for all of you who are in the same boat as us, our prayers have been answered because an inflatable water park is coming to Dun Laoghaire.
Big Splash Water Parks, the same company behind Surfdock at Grand Canal has won the tendering rights to set up shop on Coal Harbour.
According to The Sunday Times, the organisers want people to "get out, enjoy the water and have fun," and in this heat, that's exactly what we need.
There will be the likes of climbing frames and barges along the strip, with a huge obstacle course for you to spend your day on.
The structures can be erected and taken down within a day, so it's going to happen very fast altogether. One hour long sessions are €18 for under 18s and €22 for adults. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. You can book your time in the inflatable water park here.Anna Kendrick to direct The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo adaptation
