JK Rowling has given away a HUGE hint about Fantastic Beasts sequel

She only needed to use two words.

A lot of us Harry Potter fans will know that JK Rowling is all over Twitter. Whether it's to answer a fan's question or to give extra information about our favourite characters, she never seems to be off it. Now, she has given what could be a huge hint about the next Fantastic Beasts movie. When a fan asked her what Patronus Newt Scamander has, she said, "Big Spoiler".

Now, we know what you're thinking. How can saying the words 'big spoiler' be such a huge hint? Well, a Patronus charm is only used in defense against Dementors. It was only introduced in the third Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and saw the uprising of the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters, and also a load of Dementors. Dementors, who usually guard Azkaban, extract souls from wizards and the only way to protect yourself is to use a Patronus Charm. Still with me? This means that the second movie in the Fantastic Beasts franchise could centre around dark magic and the fight against it by Newt and his friends. We'll just have to wait and see.
